David Harris is the host of the Criminal Injustice podcast. Created by Harris in 2016, Criminal Injustice responded to the post-Ferguson media coverage of police and criminal justice reform: lots of heat, not much light, not very deep. David felt the need to bring something more. Every other week, David interviews people working at the leading edge of change in the criminal justice world: public officials, police and police chiefs, advocates for reform from across the spectrum, journalists and authors, prosecutors, defense lawyers, judges, the formerly incarcerated. And every week, David also brings listeners criminal justice news, commentary, features, and his recommendations on what to read, listen and follow. It’s not a class or a lecture; it’s a conversation with one of the justice system’s real innovators. With more three million unique downloads, and listeners all over the United States and around the world, Criminal Injustice offers a unique perspective to anyone interested in what makes our criminal justice system tick.
